Our support team is available Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm (EST) for general questions such as maintenance, reordering of parts and safe operations.
Sales Terms
Hotel Safes Canada (“HSC”) operates the hotelsafescanada.com Web site (the “Site”). The terms and conditions that appear below constitute a contract between you and HSC, and govern the use of the Site. HSC may modify these terms and conditions at any time, without prior notice.
PLEASE READ THESE SALES TERMS AND CONDITIONS CAREFULLY BEFORE USING THE SITE.
1.0 GENERAL CONDITIONS OF SALE
1.1 Order Acceptance
The receipt by e-mail of an order confirmation does not constitute acceptance, by HSC, of such an order or the confirmation of an offer to sell. HSC reserves the right, without any prior notification, to refuse service to any customer and/or limit the order quantity of any item ordered.
Verification of personal or credit card information may be required at any time by HSC prior to the acceptance and shipping of any order.
1.2 Cancellations
Cancellations of purchase orders will be accepted within 3 working days of placement of said purchase order and will be subject to a 25% cancellation fee.
1.3 Shipping
ALL PRICES ARE F.O.B. HSC’s WAREHOUSE unless otherwise stated.
If you wish to arrange pick up, please advise us upon placing your purchase order and you will be notified when your order is ready for pickup. Other than customer pick up, all orders will be shipped PPA (Prepaid and Added to Invoice) unless otherwise pre-arranged.
1.4 Backorders
We endeavour to ship all orders complete, but in the event that this is not possible, we will automatically backorder the unshipped item(s).
1.5 Payment methods
1.5.1 We accept the following payment methods; Visa or MasterCard (a 3% convenience fee will be added), cheque, money order or bank wire transfers.
1.6 Returns Policies
1.6.1 You may return defective products to HSC within the first 7 business days after receiving them to the following address: HOTEL SAFES CANADA, 70-A AYERS STREET, COWANSVILLE, QUEBEC, J2K 5B1, CANADA.
Conditions for returns; You must request a return authorization number (R/A #) prior to returning product by providing the following: A valid invoice and order number with details of the defect. The return authorization number (R/A) must accompany the products. To get a return authorization number, simply contact us via email or phone and the Customer Service Department will issue you the R/A number if deemed appropriate.
1.6.2 Returning defective products: If an item is deemed to be defective, it will be exchanged at no charge. If HSC has not delivered the right product, you will receive the correct product upon notification. In both cases, HSC will assume the delivery charges. HSC will not accept returns that exceed 7 business days following the receipt of the product for any reason.
Once you have received your return authorization number, you have 14 days to return a product to the following address: HOTEL SAFES CANADA, 70-A AYERS STREET, COWANSVILLE, QUEBEC, J2K 5B1, CANADA.
1.6.3 Upon receipt and inspection of returned products for credit, the amount will be refunded within 10 days by the same method that payment was made, except for freight if applicable.
1.7 Claims
Our merchandise is packaged and delivered to the transport companies with the utmost care to ensure safe delivery. We suggest that all orders be unpacked and inspected immediately upon receipt. If there is suspected freight damage to the boxes, you must note this on the carrier’s waybill immediately upon receipt of goods.
1.8 HSC reserves the rights to change spec and technical information without prejudice to Hotel Safes Canada or its affiliates and partners.
Warranty
Hotel Safes Canada Limited Warranty
Our hotel safes carry a warranty on mechanical defects for a period of seven (7) years from the original purchase. This warranty is limited to the repair or replacement of the safes or parts that have failed under normal use (determined by Hotel Safes Canada).
This Limited Warranty does not include batteries or damage caused by accident, neglect, misuse or improper installation or operation, any damage caused from service, maintenance, modifications, or tampering by anyone other than a HSC Authorized Service Representative.
In order to obtain service under warranty, the damaged part must be returned freight prepaid by the end user/ purchaser to a HSC Authorized Service Center, with the return authorization number that they have obtained previously by calling at 1-855-363-2221, together with your proof of purchase in the form of an original invoice.
This warranty is only valid for the original purchaser and cannot be transferred.
Replacement parts will be returned freight collect to the end user/ purchaser.
NOTE: A VALID UPS, PUROLATOR, or FEDEX account number is necessary for parts delivery.
Extended Warranty
At the time of purchasing safes from HSC, our customers have the option to extend coverage on the safes beyond our standard seven (7) year warranty included. Owning an extended warranty plan protects you from costly repairs and ensures your guests have access to store valuables in a convenient, user-friendly safe. With Hotel Safes Canada’s extended warranty program, you extend the life of your guest room safes and keep this valuable guest amenity operating at peak performance. Each program has specific guidelines so contact your sales representative for more details.
